Our Advanced Certificate in Public Health is a five-course program that is designed to act as a foundation for a graduate-level curriculum. It is an intensive certificate program that can be completed in 2 to 3 semesters with classes that are online and mostly asynchronous, meaning you can study on your own time and schedule that works best for you.
Once you have completed all the program requirements, you will be able to request your Certificate via email to be processed and mailed to you.
Currently, there is one application cycle that starts every fall semester. Applications open on October 1 and close in March.

Yes! If you complete the advanced certificate program and you’re still interested in continuing your education, you can apply all of your coursework towards earning an MPH from SDSU.
