No, it won’t. Upon graduation, you’ll have earned the same public health degree as SDSU’s on-campus students — a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from San Diego State University.

Our online public health bachelor’s program is 100% online, saving you time and money spent commuting to campus. Courses are eight weeks and fully asynchronous, which means you’ll be able to attend class when it fits your busy schedule. Students can take up to four courses per term.

Our degree completion programs are designed for students who have started, but not finished, their four-year undergraduate degree. By using your existing college credit as prerequisites for SDSU’s upper-division courses, you can get a head start on your bachelor’s degree.

Tuition costs vary depending on how many credits you transfer into the program. Courses are $532 per credit.

With a curriculum created by the renowned SDSU School of Public Health, your courses will teach you how to work with stakeholders in diverse communities to achieve a variety of public health goals, from fighting infectious outbreaks to developing healthcare programs and infrastructure in underserved communities. You’ll also examine the basic legal, ethical, economic, and regulatory dimensions of health care and health policy.

Our online public health degree program is approved for financial aid. In most cases, SDSU Global Campus students are eligible for assistance through FAFSA, Pell Grants, military benefits, SDSU’s scholarships, and other opportunities.

When you enroll in an academic program at SDSU Global Campus, you’re joining the San Diego State University community even if you’re not on campus. This means that you’ll have access to many of the same services, programs, cultural centers, clubs, and resources that SDSU’s on-campus students enjoy.
